AI is eating
artists alive.
Generative models are trained on artwork scraped without permission. Artists lose commissions, credit, and the value of years of practice — and the work that replaces them has nothing behind it.
Pictor Perfect runs the other way. Every design on this site was made by a person, certified AI-free, and voted onto a shirt by people who actually wanted to wear it.
What we found
- AI-generated art keeps growing, and keeps displacing the people it learned from.
- Artists struggle to build a career on work that is being undercut.
- The value of a finished piece drops as imitations of it multiply.
- The people it hits hardest are the ones who cared most.
